Microwave energy is successfully applied in modern agricultural technology. It is based on informational action of low-power microwave energy on biological objects. This action increases the energy of germination of vegetable seeds and improves the plant disease resistance.

The developed microwave technology of treatment of flax seeds before sowing is eco-friendly biotechnology, based on informational (wave) impact of low-power microwave energy on biological pbjects. This impact increases the energy of germination of seeds and improves plant disease resistance. The use of this technology helps combat the infections of seedsm, increases the energy of germination of seeds, enhances to development of root system, improves the photosynthesis system of plants, leads to faster growth of plants and more early fruitification.
Is used in flax cultivation as a method of activation of seed material before sowing
The method was tested in the field of the following enterprises of Belarus: Joint-stock company «Postavy flax factory», Joint-stock company «Berezino flax factory», Joint-stock company «Pukhovichi Flax Processing Plant», Slutsk flax seeds storage, Lyahovichi flax seeds storage.
3 mock-ups were manufactured.
